Our mission is to create locally-produced, reliable non-profit electric service at fair, reasonable, and affordable rates.
PPSD is run and managed by teams of volunteers working to build a local movement to support public power.

What We Do
We work with volunteers and supporters to educate the public, businesses, unions and local interest groups on the costs, benefits and risks of adopting public power to replace for-profit monopoly electric utilities in San Diego and the State of California.
